You are likely right; despite his background in economics he was, in a recent exchange, trying to discount Thomas Sowell's disparagement of the whole BLM/systemic racism/"reparations" mindset because some batch of Leftist blatherers said...well, the usual.  And his wife still has two---not one, but two---Hillary stickers on her car.
