Good mornings everyone. So what is the yellow stuff dripping from the spoon? It looks too thick for butter, more along the lines of pancake syrup, but I'm guessing it's some kind of porridge.

And so it seems that a gentle giantess was racistly killed by white police in Dayton, Ohio, as she was mostly peacefully stabbing someone.

And doubtless the fact that the city is named after a white supremacist imperialist colonizer is the real source of the problem.

L.A. must offer shelter for homeless on Skid Row, judge orders LOS ANGELES — A federal judge overseeing a sweeping lawsuit about homelessness in Los Angeles on Tuesday ordered the city and county to find shelter for all unhoused residents of Skid Row within 180 days and audit any spending related to the out-of-control crisis of people living on the streets. In a fiery 110-page order, Judge David O. Carter slammed officials' inability to restrain the unprecedented growth of homelessness that has seen encampments spread into nearly every neighborhood in the region. “All of the rhetoric, promises, plans, and budgeting cannot obscure the shameful reality of this crisis — that year after year, there are more homeless Angelenos, and year after year, more homeless Angelenos die on the streets," Carter wrote in granting a preliminary injunction sought by the plaintiffs last week. 90 days to get women and children off the street. Also on audit of spending on the homeless. Could be a good thing force LA to actually deal with the problem instead of use the homeless for the leftist agenda. We'll see.

Reply to Occasional Reader in 18: Hobson choice? When the legislative and executive branches refuse to do their duty, isn't the court the resort? When all three branches fail? I don't like the response "fuck 'em they voted for it", however if the electorate keeps voting in officials in all three branches who consistently fail in their duty. Or when like in 2010 and with Trump the electorate votes for a new direction the status quo stymies them at every turn? That's the definition of a "failed state" whether municipal, county, state or national, it has failed.

Just by the way---this number, among many, many others, is why I find the Fatuous Feminist Fulmination, "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels!" so very, very annoying contemptible. Any creature that utters this should be regarded as lower than the beasts of the field, and, worse, someone who's never actually seen an Astaire/Rogers film. The dances of Astaire/Rogers were always---or almost always---designed to show the two partners as equals; they are usually dancing either side-by-side, or opposite each other, especially as Astaire is usually pursuing Rogers---generally unsuccessfully until the film's conclusion. The Feminist Snot Bromide is merely another example of the Left attempting to distort, and/or suppress, actual history.
