We came down for one last trip to my mom's place in Florida. It has sold; I came to get some personal items and have one last visit. I've been coming here for 46 years.
My sister had arranged with the housekeeper that she could take certain items after I'd left. She came yesterday and mostly cleaned out the place. Called her, but she won't answer the phone. I've reported it to the HOA (for whom the woman works) but she took my grandmother's china - the main thing I'd come to collect. But took the tvs, the dining room chairs, all the end tables, nearly all the lamps, all the cookware, food I'd bought in January preparing for my return, the towels, all the hangers. The FUCKING PILLOWCASES. There are sheets for the kids beds and the bed in the master bedroom. And I was able to scrounge a couple of pillows. But I'm really pissed. I want the china.
