The Trump question hits on something I've been rolling around in my head.

Speaking in generalities of course. Those who tend to inhabit the left derive their identity from externalities, I'm a democrat, I believe in global warming, etc... Those on the right tend to derive their identity internal, who their are in their own heads.

Thus the leftist any challenge is very personal, a person on the right knows who they are and they can adjust to different opinions, and thoughts, and facts without the core identity being challenged.

Very well. Having the collarbone secured so it's not moving around is the biggest thing. He have typical moderate pain at the surgery sites, especially the wrist.

It all looks great, watch for infection the next few days. Follow up in ten days or so.

David Brooks, believe it or not, once put it pretty succinctly.  IIRC:  Conservatives have principles, liberals have positions

Glad to hear it (I mean, all things being relative).

So far, knock on wood, we've had zero emergency room visits with Little OR.  I can imagine how jarring it must be, when one's child gets seriously hurt.

Background helps, I can do an evaluation and determine how serious and take appropriate action. It would be worse if I wasn't able to take action and was dependent on others.

Good point.  I really do need to get further trained up on first aid.

Glad he is doing well. By collarbone, do you mean clavicle? No easy way to immpobilize that; he'll just ahve to be careful for a while. Ther was some kind of brace, if I remember when it happened to me 0ver 40 years ago, but it acts more as a reminder than actually preventing from moving the wrong way.
