This sentence:

As we mark Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we can consider how science as an institution has the same duty to participate in reconciliation as the rest of society does.

....tells me they have absolutely no clue what science is or does.

There are a lot of curse words I want to share, but I am refraining because I want to keep my blood pressure under control.

Some absolute friggin' genius over at Apple decided to remove ethernet from networking options on OS Ventura.

I'm having WiFi issues on my MacBook, and I've eliminated the network, so I plug in a USB-C to Ethernet adapter to troubleshoot and ....

I can't connect.

The software devs where I'm at use Macs, and are required to be hardwared on ethernet to work.

I hope Apple isn't serious and it's just an oversight on the beta version of Ventura.

Are you sure about this? I've been using a USB-C dongle to ethernet jack converter and it worked fine. Which version of Ventura do you have?

Others are mentioning it. I could have a bad network card in the laptop.

Okay that went through on ethernet.

In network setting it was there previously, but I now have a entry for USB / LAN.

It heard me complaining ad fixed itself.

Paypal will win by 80 to 90%. This is my district, so I'll vote on this race. I'm a yellow dog republican for this race.
Republicans could run a mangey, old yellow dog and I would vote for it.

Hah, good point.

Just bring back chain gangs. 20 years picking up litter, cleaning out borrow pits, cutting roadside brush grass with hand tools..
