So the bad cat wants us to be one-issue voters. While I like the article, there's just one problem: that issue is nowhere on the table except in Republican soundbites.

Well this made my antenna twitch....

Seattle hospitals experience record volumes of pediatric patients

Doctors blame the rise on the relaxing of COVID restrictions. With masks on and social distancing in play, children weren't exposed to these illnesses, but now they are. The current situation comes with a potentially tough flu season still ahead.

"We have not seen a lot of flu in the last two years because of social distancing and masking. It's a little bit difficult to predict what this year is going to be like," said Dr. Susanna Block, Pediatric Hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente Washington.

We the lack of flu is due to CDC counting everything as covid.

The lack of contact for the last two years limiting exposures, another data point for the hygiene hypothesis.

There is another factor at play. The COVID mRNA injections. We are starting to see evidence it damages the immune system. Part of the issue is when start having the body make the spike protein it confuses things because the body is not making the very thing it suppose to be attacking, the immune system attacks foreign organism. A protein make by the body is not foreign.

We don't know all the effects of the mRNA injections, I have to wonder if what we are seeing is a side effect.

There is also data showing a large increase in cancers. The media are playing this as simply a situation where cancer screenings didn't take place during the pandemic, but the number of cancers returning after remission and new cancers showing up--and aggressively--makes me seriously doubt that the lack of screenings alone can account for it.

All with the heart issues in men.

From what I know, mRNA are useful in very targeted therapies. In cancer treatments, to disrupt the cancers out of control replication. In genetic disorders to replace a missing or defective gene.

I never really saw the value in the covid mRNA injection. From what I learned of genetics and immunology it didn't make much sense.
