Sigh. Trump has always had a problem with his mouth running over. Add to that a giant chip on his shoulder, and he can't let things go.

He can help by providing support to good candidates, standing behind others, but I don't see his ego allowing his to sit on the sidelines.

Since it is Veterans' Day, here is some info about my father and father in law's service

My father served in WWII, in the Army 659'th Engineer Battalion, which printed maps, processed photo recon, etc. and served in North Africa, France, and into Gernamny.

They printed a book if their travels, which is available here

My father in law was in the Navy, both in WWII and Korea. In WWII, he served on the USS Baxter, an attack transport that was in the landings on Leyte, Luzon, and Okinawa.

Or, should I say, slower than Maricopa County ballot-counters.

Just this site or everything? If you are on a shared connection (e.g. building wifi), other computers can be using all the bandwidth. Other Windows computers could be running Microsoft Update, which sucks up all the bandwidth it can get. OK, I could have ended that sentence after "sucks".

Good that this is working for you know. I don't know what went wrong in the past.

We'll see if it lets me back in after I get logged out, close my browser, and/or reboot my system.  If so, I'll try to visit more often.

My father was in the infantry, I believe, and never really talked about what he saw and did in Germany.

My father was a medic in the Army in World War II.  He never spoke of it.  As a matter of fact, when I was little kid and asked him "what did you do the war, Daddy", he told me he was a cook.  My mother finally told me the truth until after he died.  I guess he really, really, really didn't want to talk about it and I understand why.

My dad served in the Army in the 1950s, and was stationed in Virginia, where he helped keep the Rebels in their place.

I thank him for his service. Virginia wasn't full of groomers and commies back then.

Well, he was stationed in "Real Virginia", which don't have those things now, either.

It's OK. I assume with CRT, ebonics is still an accepted language.
