Reply to vxbush in 4: My sister gave us chocolate covered bacon bits for Christmas one year. I have to say it wasn't half bad. I don't know that I would ever buy it myself, but it was quite tasty as a snack.

My husband just came through and said don't forget about bacon bits and caramel sauce on vanilla ice cream too! That was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely do that again. The hard part is having leftover bacon around when you're eating ice cream.

I dunno. I tried chocolate covered bacon once. It seemed to be two great tastes that taste great ... separately, to me. I do like that brewed chocolate, though. They it roast and grind it just like coffee, only with cocoa beans.

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 31: I didn't say that it was a GOOD sequel. The same actors, but playing different characters. The same characters, but played by different actors. The only character that appears in both movies played by the same actor is Ralph Hapschatt, the man who introduces Oscar Drill and the Bits.

The movie came out much differently than originally intended (I've seen an earlier version of the script). It was originally going to be set in Denton, Texas, but a bit strike that year (actors? writers? Don't remember) forced them to film it all on soundstages in England instead. This made them change everything into the reality show format that it ended up with. (The original script title was "The Brad and Janet Show", so there were already some reality show elements, but the entire town wasn't a reality show set originally.) In the original story, Brad and Janet had a fight in their home, Brad stormed off into the kitchen and Janet into the bedroom, which is why Brad was directing his laments toward all things found in a kitchen and Janet was directing hers toward all things found in a bedroom. It was the rewrite that turned them all into game show prizes.
