Just in passing, if anyone has superb Google/YouTube skills, and can find an old Leftist song that contains the refrain, "Freedom doesn't come like a bird on the wing/ Doesn't come down like the summer rain/ You've got to work for it, fight for it/ Day and night for it/ And every generation's got to win it again..." I'd appreciate their providing me with a link to it. I've seen a whole lot of people quoting one of Reagan's comments to the effect that we are "always one generation from losing freedom," which is true. And at the same time I find it amusing that this comment of his was encapsulated, before he said it, in this Leftist song. My recollection is that it was done by Judy Collins, and/or Joan Baez, and/or Pete Seeger, among others, but my search has turned up nothing.
