Just found out this morning a coworker got a COVID booster. I just wanted to cry and throttle them.

On to news:

BAILOUT MOTORS: GM Gutting Half Its U.S. Workforce

Based on comments Rush made years ago, my guess is they have to pay so much for pension and health care fees for former workers that they can't pay the workers they have now.

Biden Bureaucrats May Exacerbate Supply Chain Woes

Focus of the article is actually on a train merger between "Canadian Pacific (CP) and Kansas City Southern (KCS), the sixth- and seventh-largest U.S. railroads by revenue". Any train aficionados here who can speak authoritatively on this? The key issue raised in the article is that the newly merged company "would be the only railroad to extend through all of North America" and therefore would be in a special place of privilege, to use the Left's favorite term.

Cruz: ‘Joe Biden Was the Best Thing to Happen to Mexican Cartels’

Actually, I think Barack Obama deserves a lot of the credit here; Biden is simply continuing the payoff.

Major credit card companies halt rollout of codes for gun store purchases

I expect this is actually not the case; they won't do it now, but they will do it quietly in a few months or years. See: gas stoves.

Why?  It's an individual risk-assessment exercise.

But for the people being used as pawns here, this story would be hysterically funny.

First allow a number of mergers to occur.

Then when resulting system starts breaking down due to lack of competitions.

Nationalize the railroads!

The Petey can play railroad mogul!

1. This person is under the age of 45 and is at low risk of serious illness.

2. Individuals who have had 4 COVID shots have a higher elevated risk of serious disease and death. How much is under dispute and how you slice the data.

3, The spike protein in the vaccine binds to ACE2 receptors, which are located throughout the body: ovaries, testes, heart, kidneys, stomach, colon, you name it. By injecting someone with a vaccine that creates the spike protein and teaches the body to fight it, the potential for it to then turn against the parts of the body interacting with the vaccine are huge.

4. We now have at least one scientific report that concludes the COVID vaccines are causing serious clots, causing death in cases. Morticians when trying to embalm the bodies are having to remove these clots in order to complete the process. Some of these clots are very large.

The increase in clots is among the vaccinated as reported by morticians and others.

So we have conflicting reports.

Now let me think who has been more truthful over the last 3 years regarding covid and the mRNA injections?

Kaepernick throws parents under bus, TheBlaze

Sorry to change the subject.  I don't give a rat's ass about the NFL or Kaepernick, but I know his parents and this story just pissed me off.  I went to Jr & Sr high school with both of them and knew Theresa even before that.  Her mother was my boss for many years and I even had a crush on her younger brother.  I think the son is the way he is because of the father.  I won't say more about that because I'm afraid to say anything bad about anyone on the internet.  He'd probably find out and sue me (at the very least)!  His mother on the other hand is almost a saint.  There is not a racist bone in her body.  What parent has never looked at some style of dress or fashion their kid wanted to wear and not thought it was a poor choice?  My mom's favorite one was "you're wearing that?" and then she'd quietly laugh.  Upstairs I'd go because she'd made me question my choice as to maybe I'd gone too far out there.  I always knew though it was her opinion of the outfit, not me.

Back on subject: vxbush, I agree with you.

House unanimously votes to declassify US intelligence info about origins of COVID-19

Dems only voted for it because of optics.

Also they know the intel community will take forever "reviewing" documents for declassification.

What were you doing three years ago today?

My photo stream just offered up a photo of me, holding up a jar of peanut butter at a supermarket three years ago. I texted that to friends with the caption “I’ve got some groceries, some peanut butter, last me a couple of days.” I remember that feeling, bracing for what was going to come, not sure of how bad it would be.

The thing itself was never anywhere as severe as the worst of my fears. But damn, did the reaction to it go on a whole lot longer than I had imagined it would.

Hope everyone here is doing reasonably nicely.

I, personally, am in hell.  Details in a day or two.
