Couldn't happen to a stranger woman--which seems appropriate, then.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm having extra essence of Monday in my Monday.

So, like buzzsawmonkey and some others, I occasionally listen to NPR so that you don't have to.  Yesterday, while driving back from dropping off my son with is mom, I was listening to the show "The Through-Line"; the topic was the history of how we got to our current credit-score system.  This is a potentially interesting topic, but their ideological blinders combined with the mandatory use of Newspeak made a complete hash of the show.  They went through how old-fashioned credit reporting systems were, of course, racist; and how the adoption of the FICO-style credit scoring system was meant to remove the subjectivity from credit review.  But they wound up - of course - admonishing that the current credit scoring system is still... wait for it... "discriminatory".

OF COURSE A CREDIT SCORING SYSTEM IS "DISCRIMINATORY", YOU NITWITS; THAT'S THE WHOLE BLOODY POINT.  It's supposed to "discriminate" between high credit risk, and low credit risk.

Heh. Yes, the idea of being discriminatory is, itself, discriminatory, and therefore is double-plus ungood.

Yikes. What can the court do? I don't think I've ever heard of this happening, although plenty of people have tried to avoid such summons.

Remember my post about the leftist group in DC having all sorts of secretaries of state coming to talk about security of the 2024 election? Yeah, then this happened:
