Any wisdom folks here can share related to this? I have no clue what to think, other than conspiracy theories.

I rather doubt it. I think this is a situation where she is in league with the "witches" on camera and is trying to get her 15 minutes of fame.

Gay civil rights attorney comes out fighting for kids

This seems to be solid work on the part of this attorney and is hopefully a better solution than Uganda's. Definitely an article worth reading, if only to find the following sentences:

That is, by the way, a good justification for grooming children. Grooming is just another form of dating in this view.

...

And here, Cleghorn gets to the heart of the matter. The alphabet ideology is about a certain kind of liberation: a complete separation of the Will from the body and Nature.

Good morning.

I fear Tucker is going off the rails; and it's a real pity to see.  He's had a lot of important things to say over the years.

I saw that at Insty yesterday; and yes, I agree, this is likely a hoax.

Just a point of clarification: Tucker posted this from his personal Twitter account. I assumed (always a dangerous thing) that when he started officially doing news videos for Twitter that he would have a different Twitter handle or some special tab/thing/channel in Twitter. So this may or may not be his official show. Just a thought.

I was just out running some errands in the weirdly-smoggy New York air, courtesy---we are told---of some Canadian wildfires.

It was a little eerie.  The air (now merely grayish) was initially a radiant gold color.  There were relatively-few people on the streets, and something like a third to a half of them were wearing their covid masks.  Myself, I didn't find the air noxious, though there were moments when my eyes felt a little gritty; though I had a mask in my pocket, I never bothered to use it.  The air was a little acrid, but hardly as bad as being in the park, downwind of the next family over's barbecue.

I was reminded of the accounts of the darkened skies worldwide following the explosion of Krakatoa---though the reasonably-persistent winds suggested that this cloud would soon dissipate.

In the meantime, I could not help but wonder...why this?  Why now?  I've lived in NYC for over 40 years, God help me, and I do not recall an incident of this nature at any time during those previous four decades plus---and now, our esteemed perpetually-steamed Senator Chuck Schumer is blaming---you guessed it---"climate change," the cause of everything from fallen souffles to stubbed toes.

At the risk of reviving my reputation here as a conspiracy theorist, I found myself thinking that it would be wholly unsurprising if the climate-change crowd engaged in a little international cooperation.  It has seemed that recently some people are beginning to recognize that the "climate change" scaremongering is a scam---and there is doubtless wailing and gnashing of teeth among those who are devastated that all but the most credulous have long abandoned their face-masks.

One can understand massive wildfires in the autumn, when foliage is drying out.  But at the height of the spring rains? The sprouting and growing season?  Wildly counter-intuitive.  I find myself wondering if our domestic climate-change cultists and Canada's resident Leftist ruler cooked up a plan between them where a massive arson would take advantage of the prevailing winds, and drive a cloud down through the Northeast and beyond to spook an increasingly-skeptical public into believing in "climate change"---and, not incidentally, persuading many to re-don their useless covid masks as a talilsman against the "climate change" demon.

Given the long history we've seen of collaboration between fellow travelers on the left, it doesn't seem that surprising at all in terms of cooperation. The bigger question to me.  is whether they would intentionally set fires in Canada.

There's a lot of empty space in Canada, with a lot of potentially-burnable stuff. And, if Trudeau is all-in on the "climate change" scam, I could see him quietly setting something in motion which would help his Davos/NEF brethren to the south.  Look at how willing he was to dump on the truckers protesting covid restrictions.

Again---I know that this is loopy speculation.  On the other hand, wildfires are wildly out-of-season now, during the raining-and-growing season.  That sets off alarm bells for me.  The idea of spooking a big chunk of the US population, and getting them to re-don their masks in dread of the carbon in the air just makes my spider-sense tingle, especially as we are heading into the pre-primary/primary season.

I wouldn't have expected how disastrously COVID was handled until late summer of 2020 when I started doing more research (since I wasn't driving as much). At this point, I'm thinking your tin foil hat and mine are matching sizes.

If one of the assembled multitude can explain to me why the occurrance of an unprecedentedly-massive wildfire way, way, way out of wildfire season is not a highly-suspicious matter, I would be most grateful.

3 days of meeting with our main software tool vendor developing the strategic partnership. We are one of their largest single customer bases. Within a defined unit, not necessarily corporate wide. We are doing cutting edges stuff which pushes the tools to the edge of capability so it benefits both of us. We get the capability we need, they get real life use case studies.

Now explain why these genius Climate Regulators are/were incapable of putting the fire(s) out before it (they) got this bad, and consider what this says about their competence to regulate The Entire Planetary Climate.
