One idea floating around my inbox this afternoon is that part of Israel’s complete military collapse today was caused by a massive Iranian cyber attack that hacked its systems and prevented it from seeing what ought to have been obvious. That this could not only be true but related to the U.S. having recently given a team of Iranian agents high-level access to U.S. intelligence, which could very well have included information about Israeli systems, is not nearly as far-fetched a scenario as many would like it to be. And to the extent that we ever find out the truth about any of this, it will be because of Elon Musk, without whom we’d only have access to state-approved propaganda.
My emphasis

I stopped by a pro Israel rally in front of the Israeli embassy here in DC for a little while. It wasn’t very big, but there’s apparently a larger group that started at the Washington monument and is marching north. Of course, there’s apparently also a “pro Palestinian” rally that starts at the White House, and is also marching to the Israeli Embassy. Because what a perfect time for a “pro Palestinian” rally, right?
And I doubt they are coming there to apologize, which is what they *should* be doing.

That”s a RIDICULOUS question to ask.
Joe Biden couldn’t walk even one-tenth that distance.
On a completely different topic, McAfee has an extension "WebAdvisor" that warns about shady sites.
For some reason, it causes Firefox, Brave, and Chrome to suck up a lot of memory (8GB!)
Solution is to remove and reinstall McAfee.
To get this support, I tried to use chat, but it said I'd get help in one minute for 15 minutes, so I called. The insisted on not telling me what to do, but taking control of the computer (I shut down anything they could see) but they could have just told me what to do. I just did it myself on the other computers.
Also, they want me to use Microsoft Edge when using their site. That seems to be more of a shopping application disguised as a web browser; kept trying to offer me a discount on McAfee when I visited.
Subscription has about 40 days left on it and I will be looking elsewhere. Haven't turned off automatic renewal yet but the card number is old and invalid.

Hamas has been war criminals since its founding. But only Israel gets investigated and accused.

A clear-eyed explanation of why this atrocity is on the Biden and Obama regimes.
And I notice that, despite Hamas going to great lengths to be as visibly savage as possible, actually filming and broadcasting their strafing of concert goers and brutalization of young women… their supporters here are still literally holding rallies as I write this.
"The Biden Administration denounces the terrible atrocities being committed with the six billion dollars President Biden gave Hamas" said Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. "We are deeply saddened by the deaths caused by every missile purchased with money from the Biden administration."
