Maher torches anti-Israel protesters who block traffic: Narcissists who want to ‘cosplay as revolutionaries’ "Someone needs to tell the people who block traffic in the name of a cause, no one likes you. And you're probably hurting your cause," Maher began his monologue. "You'd have to be pretty dumb to think that the way to bring people around to your point of view is to make them late to pick up their kids from daycare. And that's what most normies are thinking. 'I have a kid. I have a job. And yes, I'm sure there are injustices on both sides in the Middle East as there are injustices all over the world, but I'm going to be late for work,' something you protesters on the bridge seemed to have the luxury of not having to worry about, which seems kind of privilege," Maher said. "You're going to glue your hands to the street because your hands don't have to do any work today," he then quipped. "I'm not saying there aren't sincere passions about Gaza, especially among people from the region, but social justice warriors- for a lot of them, it seems like it's more about the warrioring than about whatever the cause is. If you really cared about apartheid so much, which Israel does not actually practice- Arabs there vote, they serve in Parliament, they sit on the Judiciary- wouldn't you start with this?" He then showed an image of a woman in a burka next to a man in uniform. "With the hundreds of millions of women in the world who live under a true apartheid, a gender apartheid of the most brutal kind?" Maher continued. "Are you really speaking truth to power or you just think you look cool in a keffiyeh, which is really just the new Che Guevara t-shirt, another historical figure you'd never researched and so think as a hero who was actually a sadistic racist monster fighting for communism, the worst form of government ever, but these are small matters." Emphasis mine

Israeli comedy show makes fun of anti-Israel protesters Protests at New York’s Columbia University have been at the center of the news. The sketch features two students called Kelcy and Wordle, played by Eretz Nehederet regulars Liat Harlev and Tamir Bar, dressed in full rainbow regalia, tearing down posters of the 250 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. They chant, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” which Kelcy says she knows is true because it rhymes. as Wordle puts it, “I’m not antisemitic, I’m racist fluid.” They go on to say hi to their “BFF – Bestie Freedom Fighter,” a Hamas terrorist ensconced in the Gaza tunnels, who tells them, “You can come to Gaza any time, and we will throw you from the roof, you homosexual dirt,” making fun of the “Queers for Palestine” crowd. Wordle appreciatively mis-hears this as, “They want to throw me a rooftop party!” and Kelcy gushes, “They are so welcoming and inclusive!” The Hamas fighter tells them they are so stupid, that he won’t waste bullets on them, and the unflappable Kelcy responds by inviting him to America. He assures them he’ll be there soon. The general deterioration of American campuses from institutes of higher learning to swamps of anti-Western propaganda is lampooned as Wordle boasts that his major is “queer post-colonial astrology.” My emphais, and RTWT - I haven't watched the sketch (in the link) yet but WTWT, too.
