The major intersection not far from my house hosted a No Kings protest. They parked all over the neighborhood. I briefly talked to a couple of them. Nice, well meaning totally ignorant people.

A vast majority of them were wearing masks.  Outside on a breezy day with very light rain.

The protest was short.

The analog that came to mind watching the No Kings protest was 1984's 5 minute hate.

They came out protested, now their civic duty is done, they are virtuous now.

There were no "No Kings" rallies in my town or any adjacent town. I think there was one 2 or 3 towns over, and there was one in the nearest big city (Worcester).

The Americans urged Israel to "respond proportionately but show restraint," a US official told Axios, adding that "Nobody wants to go back to full-scale war. The Israelis want to show Hamas there are consequences, without ruining the peace agreement."

The answer SHOULD be, Hamas has proven they cannot be trusted; Israel take them out.

Not exactly. Annexed by Israel. Gazans can stay if they accept it, and can have local rule, but any that cannot accept Israel rule get removed.

Rebuilding is paid for by the money the Hamas leaders have socked away.
