The one place I would like to see the states going after some people in the federal government is due to the shutdown.

It is a criminal offense to not pay workers in Massachusetts. I'd love to see our senators locked up for preventing workers from being paid by blocking the continuing resolution. (I haven't looked up How Fauxahontas and Markey voted but I can guess)

But I know that isn't going to happen.

Emphasis there on "corporate." Some private companies do some very interesting things with their budgets.

I'm willing to bet every company has irregularities in the budgets that COULD be charged.

So much of Federal, white collar, enforcement is very selective. Keep your head down, stay off the radar and you're fine. I see a lot of process crime being used extremely selectively. Process Crime being largely unintentional, form XYZ got filled out improperly, instead of being allowed to correct the error they get prosecuted.

The whole thing is just chaotic.

The whole story

There was an African researcher who found a way to make porpoises immortal, using an extract from Mynah birds.

At one point, he found he was out of birds so we went to the pet store and got one. Back at the lab, he found lions asleep at the doorway. He managed to get in the lab and was arrested for:
