No time to stick around much today but Happy Veterans' Day.

Too bad the old stand is gone.  There are a few parodies I wish I'd transcribed.  Ah, well---life is a casting off.

Happy Day. I guess I don't run in the right circles; other than the articles that have been up at PJ Media and Instapundit, the only reference to today I've seen is the exercise challenge on my Apple Watch. Kind of  a sad commentary on how our society treats the honored folks who have protected this country.

On Sunday our church did its yearly Remembrance Sunday service -- representatives of the US, British, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand military were there.  It's a very moving service, though I wonder if it will continue once the older folk are gone.

Our church didn't do anything for Veteran's Day. Some years they have, but not this year.

You're back! I missed you all.

I have two face-to-face job interviews tomorrow morning. Prayers, good thoughts, votive candles, and burnt offerings gratefully accepted.

S'mores count as a burnt offering, right?

Meanwhile in Canada, the Wokestapo observe Remembrance Day in their own special way:

Sometimes I think that the only way to deal with these creeps is to shoot every motherfucking last one of them.  They are utterly wicked and beyond saving.

The visceral hatred pouring out for the idiot sticks that fired Don Cherry is interesting. Wonder how the bottom line is going to look in about a month. Cherry is considered an icon.
