I found it interesting that in the Jewish Advocate, the Boston-area Jewish newspaper, there was an ad wishing all the readers a Shana Tova.

Well there are lots of ads like that.

This one was from a lobster company.

And lobsters are not kosher. They are delicious, however. There were times I didn't keep kosher, and my parents kept kosher at home but ate lobster, clams, shrimp, etc out of the house.

I'm wondering whether it is worth my time to fix the problems on this blog. Or just go back to blogspot/blogger.

Too few participants. Especially during the times I can post.

(I'd be willing to give the source code and help to anyone interested, though.)

In the Maine, no...

Thanks. Any ideas on how to get better participation?

I am working on a way for me to reset passwords, and that is not trivial, plus I haven't worked on the code in months.

That will get back people with one email address who forgot their passwords.

Along with that, I want to have people who didn't finish their profiles the ability (even if forced) to do so.

Then a problem no one but me has seen. If you go to a forum and open a thread (as opposed to opening it from the main page), there is no way to post.

Thus, the Frontier thread I set up is now unusable.

I'd explain how what should have been a good holiday (if serious) went south but there is no usable Frontier right now.

(The earliest usage of "went south" I know is in a book written by an admiral who was in the Naval Academy during the Civil War, and refers to colleagues who "went South", i.e. joined the Confederacy.)

And now Visual Studio won't let me set breakpoints in the pages where I need to see what is going on.

Found the problem. It had opened some temporary file instead of the real one.

I will do my best in trying to get former C2 people to participate. For now, I bid you good night, as I have an early wake up call tomorrow.

I like the place you've set up. Blogger is a bit painful.

The password glitch can be handled in time.

Thanks. I could fix the other problems first, except I've started on the password problem.

Now, should I be looking for work again, can I get all your recommendations to improve Blogger?/////

Google knows my political opinions, I'm sure, and my age, and probably won't hire me anyway.

Would you really want to work for Google anyway?

I think you've done a great job with the site. I like being able to paste an image into a post without fiddling with HTML. My only request would be a refresh button at the bottom of the thread.
