This just PROVES the country is raaaaacist and Trump is raaaaacist! Black Lives Matter (but only when killed by police, not by other blacks)!
-- all the leftists and Democrats (but I repeat myself)

I think the timing is perfect.  It comes at a point when people are really fed up.  The pushback will embolden people who've been keeping their mouths shut out of fear to start speaking freely.

Hamsters, gerbils? Hmmm.  Time to fire up the grill.

That action by our POTUS is a brilliantly targeted and landed shot into their essential financial organ  . . . stinging . . . memorably . . . bleeding to death . . . preferably.

I grilled some Korean-style shortribs.

Where I work has added diversity and inclusion BS, but since I don't get paid for it, I ignore it.

I do note they include gender, with an online exhibit of women of the lab.

And a movie "Pioneers in Skirts", which has a photo that I note ironically has no one in skirts.

Fortunately, the Code of Conduct was revised to warn against discrimination, but also that activities that are OK outside, are NOT OK inside, such as "proselytizing for a political cause".

And lastly, I have yet to see anyone take a knee when the Star Spangled Banner blares out on speakers that might date back to 1953. Everyone stops, as required.

A local cable station is airing, The Public Enemy.

I ain't so tough."  Face meets gutter.

Movie dialogue.  In real life,  despots/thugs never admit defeat - they simply have to experience it and I am fine with that.

Little man and I had pizza dinner at his favorite neighborhood pizza restaurant. While we were chatting, he asked me about which countries in the Americas I had visited. He then, without waiting for me to name them, proceeded to quiz me about them, from Canada down to Chile, IN GEOGRAPHICAL ORDER.

The only name he stumbled on a little bit was Suriname.  But he knew it began with the letter S and ends with a E, and that it’s between Guyana and French Guiana.

I would like to see George Floyd's killer brought to justice.

They need to find who supplied him with the fentanyl

Tried to find a poem I read many years ago about a grapefruit.  No results.

The poem was about a woman preparing breakfast for her husband and in such preparing cut a grapefruit in half.  No matter their difficulties/hardships/arguments she could never bring herself to give him the smaller half.

Trump. Damn him for all the evils he did before mankind existed and since.

I think that covers it.

The Zeppelin Tube - a power so great, it can only be used for good or evil, and that choice is left up to you. Let's hope you don't forget your promise.

What promise?

Although if he were to use his powers in ways that are, say, morally ambiguous, but that allow him to become the world’s first trillionaire and buy his dear old dad a retirement island in the Caribbean stocked with Victoria’s Secret models, I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to that.

That is not a farfetched hope.  We may soon hear about young scribbles on a whiteboard resembling the laws of quantum mechanics, space flight trajectory with mac and cheese as the means to eliminate world hunger as we land on Saturn.  In that order.  I am hopeful too.

hey, I said “morally ambiguous“, not “evil“. I would draw the line at “evil“. Probably. (Depending on which Caribbean island we’re talking about, and which Victoria’s Secret models we’re talking about).

Well, even morally ambiguous - or for that matter, morally correct - overlords need to deal with a lot of stuff aimed at them.
