And a happy St. Crispin's Day to all.  Time to remember Agincourt and the Battle off Samar.

St. Crespin's sounds like a breakfast cereal they'd serve in a Catholic school.

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Facebook live is showing a video of a Halloween party at the White House.  So cute seeing the costumed children and parents walking by the president and first lady.  There are two marines behind them and behind a glass door.

Do we get to choose between regular, and extra-Crispin's?

Wow, just went to Google and typed "can I" and it autofilled "change my vote?" for the second choice.  Seems a lot of people may be questioning their early choice.  Too funny.

Reply to doppelganglander in 11: Yes, Breitbart has a blip about it too.  Hopefully, it's true.  Breitbart said it was just personal appearances, he would still to virtual campaigning.

In English now.  Breitbart said the lid was on personal appearances but he would still do virtual campaigning.

So what are these people going to do when Trump wins?

(I can't see the full article as I have read too many articles unpaid)

My link goes to a joke site that simply tells you whether or not Joe Biden has called a lid each day. I'm not sure I believe he's canceling all in-person appearances but anything is possible..

Reply to doppelganglander in 15: I didn't realize it was a joke!  Sounded believable to me.  Seems like he's called a lid everyday.  Did you see the stuff about Kamala campaigning at some polling site?  Too bad that's only illegal for some people.  The funniest comment was that they couldn't get people to come to their rallies so she went to where the people were.

We sometimes discuss dreams here. Last night, I had trouble sleeping, and had some weird dreams.

One was almost a nightmare, but as it was set (strangely, since I had not thought of those books in a while) in the Harry Potter world, and sometimes I was watching and sometimes in the action, so it never quite made it to nightmare.

It involved a wizard murderer who was being hunted. He had the ability to appartate (teleport) to where his hunters were.

Then someone noticed that his target would hear "The game is on" just before he appeared. And Hermione found he'd appear in a mirror or picture just before appearing, and staring at the mirror or picture could stop him long enough to get help.

Some other parts involving tubes that sucked blood as a murder weapon are too unclear to me now.

But he came back to life and appeared in my next dream.

A turkey burger with onions last night.

Too much trouble to make a cranberry resin.

Tonight,  soup and  maybe something small. Too long a day.

The bigger problem was I  had trouble getting to sleep at all.

Our local news station just said Biden is planning on being in Georgia Tuesday.  Don't know what to think now.  Will have to wait and see if he makes an appearance.

I agree, that's why I buy it already prepared.  Would love to have the homemade stuff my Aunt used to make again.  Too much work for just the husband and me though.

I like onions, pickles, mustard, and barbecue sauce on burgers. (I like barbecue sauce instead of ketchup; spicier)

No cheese except on veggie burgers; meat and cheese is not kosher. But I do have veggie "bacon" cheeseburgers.

Morningstar Farms veggie burgers and their veggie "bacon" strips - I call them "facon".

This is all the Globe would let me see:

These ordinary citizens are preparing to fight a coup in November
On a recent Tuesday evening, about 1,500 people gathered virtually to consider some previously unthinkable questions. They were students and retirees, veteran activists and rookies, residents of Anchorage and Manchester and Boston and Honolulu.

If President Trump carried through on his threats and refused to accept a loss in the Nov. 3 election, what were they prepared to do?

Would they be willing to occupy a government building? Block a bridge? Sit down calmly while being attacked? Now was the time to think it through, advised the organizers of “Choose Democracy," the group that had convened the free training about how to non-violently beat an undemocratic power grab — or, in layman’s terms, a coup.

Come on, doesn't everyone have a gas chromatograph and mass spectrometer?//// I admit, I have not finished my particle accelerator, though. (Which is true, but I haven't started it, either; still waiting for funding)
