After a long and annoying trip that involved an unscheduled stop to get a new alternator (grrrrrrr) I finally made it to the beach. Luckily there was beer.

I used to love their commercials and wanted a bar clock with the bears.

I stayed there once as well -- my grandfather always stayed there when he was in DC and paid for my room to carry on the tradition.

It is really annoying when the other people at the auction show up with over 5 times the money that I have brought.
I am looking to buy a lift gate with a truck attached since buying a lift gate to attach to a truck costs as much as a truck with a lift gate already attached.

Of course, then you have to move the lift gate to a truck that actually works.
But soon, President Harris will require you to get an electric truck. And with all Green energy, you won't be able to afford to charge it, assuming the power was actually available.

I am a little concerned about that.
I wonder if people will begin to object to this green bullshit when a head of lettuce lists for north of $20.00.

Assuming you can get any. I have not heard of any work on electric farm equipment, which would be ridiculously expensive, AND require a lot of power to recharge. At night, when no solar power.
Then it has to be shipped. Who is going to electrify 100,000 miles or more of railroads? And again, where will the power come from?
Venezuela, here we come!

And I seem to be the only person in the world who figured out, when Trump got COVID and Pelosi was trying to set up a committee to find the president incapable, that she said the one piece of truth she ever said - it was NOT all about Trump. It was about getting Biden out of the way.

Dear Leader Harris will guide the nation to agricultural greatness by leading the unemployed technology workers to be happy workers in the fields, getting truly in touch with the soil, as the work it with short handled tools, or fertilize it with their very expressions of joy at the rations they are provide after a hard days work.

Fertilizer - night soil. E. coli. I wonder what the rich will eat? Never mind, I have heard a modest proposal about that, and Planned Rationhood will supply.

How did "Count Every Legal Vote" become a controversial and "whiny disgusting attempt at suppression" ?

It was a very lame and stupid adaptation of Harry Harrison's novel Make Room, Make Room
In the novel, people were pulling trucks. In the movie, they had fleets of trucks taking the bodies to the Soylent Green plant. Where did they get all the power and fuel? But I saw it in college, with people who had also read the novel, and found it lame.
I can write a better dystopia, but no one would want to read it. Unfortunately, it is what would happen if the Dems actually got control of the government. Fortunately, it looks like the Senate will stay sane Republican.

I'll take a beer, thanks. I have a lot of liberal friends and family over on FB as well. One lucky thing, however is that an old friend of mine whose nic was LeePro at LGF clued me in to the names of all of the former lizards she knew, including you, and I friended them years ago before LeePro passed away.

And I might be back for a few minutes before going to bed. Shutting off downstairs computer.
Dogs already out, They seem to know when I'm about to eat something. At least this time, I hadn't cooked it yet.
(Chicken drumstick cooked a while ago, then frozen. Then when I was ready to eat it, covered in buffalo wing sauce and microwaved. Opened the microwave door and the fumes almost melted my face. But it was good)

It is amazing. I had an ulcer when I was in my mid thirties so that would have been out of the question but after the ulcer was completely healed I was able to eat spicy and rich foods again. I am forever thankful because I haven't had much of a sense of taste or smell the last few years.
