Since I was just watching this video about the Battleship New Jersey

and the curator said "How many berthing spaces do you really want to go into", I wondered about any "camp followers" who got on board when the ship was active and went to a lot of berthing spaces.

Of course, only some of them were white women.

The synagogue we went to years ago now has a gay social justice rabbi and he has a husband.

Stopped going there when the rabbi before that (long before) said nothing to me when I went to say Kadish for my mother.

I won't go into the social reasons for that - it would make a horror movie (from my wife's view - not the rabbi but someone who essentially bewitched him into thinking he was helping a satanist find Judaism)
