Just found out about a Lefty magazine that I'd never heard of before, called "Current Affairs." The editor/founder is the author of a book called "Why You Should Be a Socialist"---and he just fired the staff for trying to organize a "workers' co-op."

In a bad mood tonight. The HP I got a couple of weeks ago can't handle external drives. Took a while initially, then the drive disappeared and cannot be seen. Passes Seagate diagnostics on another computer. HP support says an support person will be with you shortly for 1/2 hour. Never shows up.
