At one time, I held the record for most money won by a woman on Jeopardy and the 6th highest overall. (This was before Ken Jennings, of course.) I know nothing about this Amy person, but there have been other trans people on the show, including one who transitioned between his original appearance and an invitational tournament. Maybe that's how he paid for it, I don't know. In a competition based on intellect and speed, I don't think Amy would have an unfair advantage. But I do think pretending Amy has broken the women's record is disrespectful to the real record holder. Transgenderism is largely rooted in misogyny and its end goal is to erase women. I think this is just another example of that.

In response to earlier suggestions:

I have a 4 TB external backup drive.  The problem was the hardware, specifically the voice recorder I use which has limited storage capacity.

Can’t really say I see the point to separate male and female “Jeopardy!” records.  In any event, I continue to be in awe of your achievements on the show.

Headed to bed after a day of travel, soon.

That's exactly what I'm saying.  Knowledge is not gender based, but to say "she's" broken the women's record just exasperated me.  No, "she" hasn't.  Maybe just keep a record of the highest transgender score then.
