Interesting stuff.  I'm seeing a lot of sources saying roughly the same thing; that the Russian tanks in service now are, despite their theoretically-amazing specs, not even remotely a match for Western counterparts.   I have no independent basis for evaluating this, but what's happening in Ukraine seems to bear it out.  

Speaking of tank stuff, I'll post something related and somewhat interesting in a moment, in the Frontier.
