Best compliment I've had all week was yesterday, from Little OR. I went to pick him up from day camp. Now, I know, from experience, that the ice cream truck rolls up just before dismissal time; that a huge line quickly forms; and that Little OR will want his usual Bomb Pop. So, I got there early, went straight to the ice cream truck and got a bomb pop; stored it in an cold-gel-lined lunch sack; then went in and picked up Little OR, showed him the bomb pop, the ice storage, and the extra water bottle and wipes I'd brought to clean his hands and face after he finished the popsicle. I also pointed out the already-yuge line at the ice cream truck ,that we were beating. He grinned and said, "Daddy, you're being very resourceful!".
