Howdy. “Babysitting” Little OR at his mom’s place so she can go to a work social thing.

Listening to the candidates debate
Laugh about it, shout about it,
When you got to choose
Any way you look at it you lose

Jukebox

I'm depending on Little OR's analysis afterward. I'm sure he's more politically astute than anyone on CNN/CNBC/MSNBC/ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX.

He might suggest they all get eaten by dinosaurs. Not a bad idea, but we don't have any dinosaurs.

Another jukebox

And a parody (a bit out of date):

I am just a voter and my story’s often told

How I squandered my resistance

For a pocket full of mumbles such are promises

All lies and jest

Still a man hears what he wants to hear

And disregards the rest

When I voted for Barak Obama

I was no more than a boy

In the company of Democrats

In the quiet of the voting booth voting scared

Against Bush, no more armies for the right

Where the neo-cons would fight

Keeping America from the blight

Lie lie lie, lie lie lie lie lie lie lie

Asking only workman’s wages

I come looking for a job

But I get no offers

Just a come-on from the whores at the Acorn office

I do declare, there were times I was so lonesome

I took some comfort there

Lie lie lie, lie lie lie lie lie lie lie

Then I’m laying out my winter clothes

And wishing I was warm

Getting warm

Where the global warming leaders aren’t freezing me

Freezing me, getting cold

In the clearing stands a voter

And a dumbass by his vote

And we carry the reminders

Of how health care made us choke

And he realized as he cried out

In his anger and his shame

“I am voting Republican”

But Obama still remains

Lie lie lie, lie lie lie lie lie lie lie

Deval Patrick is Obama's candidate, the black knight in shining armor that will save the Democrats.

Since Barack Obama is now one of the rich people that the Democrats want to savage through confiscatory taxation — he just bought a $15 million, 29-acre estate on Martha’s Vineyard — he might want to help elect the next president to  protect his wealth and his legacy. Who better than Deval Patrick?

So, all he had to do was get his good friend Deval to run for president, which Patrick once thought of doing anyway. The only other threat out there is South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, a flash in the pan.

The Democrats running for president are about as uninspiring a group of candidates that you will find. There is no campaign energy, no excitement, no compelling reason to tune in. Watching the debates is like watching paint dry. They have taken the party so far to the left that even Leon Trotsky would vote Republican

You can understand why Obama has not endorsed any of them, including Joe Biden, his former vice president.

Obama was looking for someone like himself to support. And he found him.

So, here comes Deval Patrick, St. Barack’s candidate. And despite his mixed record as governor, Patrick is a solid liberal who will bring energy to the lackluster Democratic campaign. He is articulate, charismatic and can deliver a spellbinding speech.
