Tonight's offering -- braised quail stuffed with sweetbreads.

Well, WE had chicken nuggets, strawberries, baby carrots, and “fig bars”.  So *there*.

Sitting in Little OR’s room at the moment, sipping a Dogfish 90 as he falls asleep.

I had frozen pizza with cauliflower crust. Not bad, actually. I'm utterly exhausted after this week.

Pro tip:  Next time, cook it first.

Being vegetarian, I guess carrion pot pie would not be appetizing to you.  It is tastiest just after dusk though, if you ever consider trying it.

I actually tried to recommend that exact dish to my boy. “Carrion. my wayward son“ I implored him. He paid me no attention...

One of our dogs can just reach the counter and stole some pizza. Now she shows up at the gate to the kitchen whenever we have some.

She'd probably eat it frozen. Extra crunchy.

And she is smart - she can open the pet gate if we don't latch it. (And she knows the red thing keeps her from opening it - she just can't manipulate it)

I did, LOL.

I am not a vegetarian. I can't imagine anything more tedious except being a vegan. Cauliflower crust is gluten-free and pretty tasty, if you like cauliflower. I'll leave the carrion for you.

My wife needs gluten free, so we get Sonoma pizza,  iirc. She's tried a few and goes with that. Plain cheese. $7.99 at Market Basket (a local chain, where the prices are generally good, and the employees helpful - the person who owns it (after a nasty family fight) figures he makes enough so the employees are treated well and the customers get good prices, mostly. (And that's capitalism - he gets to make that choice)

Doing well.  Very busy.  Early starts most days.  Can sleep in a bit later tomorrow.

That said, I'm heading to the nook to cozy in.

Nite all.  Swoosh
