Repost from the earlier thread.  I voted just after 1:00 PM.  We had a line but it moved fast.  I'm so glad I didn't go to the first voting center that I had planned to go to.  Apparently they only had four of our new ballot marking devices.  The park building I did go to had 24 of the devices.  I got a little concerned over having to touch a screen that they didn't seem to be cleaning between users and the antibacterial wet wipe I had in the car was completely dried out.  We have a brand new system here in California, not sure if I like it but it was quite easy to use.

The ballot box I mentioned earlier (with some info removed).

It was in use only a few years ago

I went to vote around 6. Took a while to find a parking space and this is a small town. Voting room was packed. Then the ballot counting machine crashed and had to be rebooted. (Only one machine)

Got out about 45 minutes later.

Everyone was patient and friendly, though.

We have “mail in” elections here in Washington State.

It has all the excitement and thrill of paying a bill.

The ballots are sent out about three weeks before the election. A lot of people have already cast their ballots the election deadline/date is March 10.

I suspect Bernie will win big here.

They have declared Colorado for Sanders.

Oklahoma went to Biden

Bloombucks won American Samoa.

Years ago, I read about American Samoa, and the system there is, the US pays the natives who go off and do native things.

I think they figure Bloombucks can buy them all new fancy canoes.

The book on the box is covering the ballot slot, but you'd put your ballot there, they'd crank the brass crank, and it would count one more ballot.

Then the ballots would get counted by hand.

Biden also has Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia

These are not winner takes all states, so Bernie is like to get some from these states. Bloombucks May get a few as well.

Tulsi Gabard has a (1) delegate from American Samoa.

It is looking like Biden will win the most states.

Bernie can still get the most Delegates if he does well in Texas and California.

Early voting may have helped Bernie by splitting off Biden votes to Buttigieg and Klobachar.

Probably because they are Polynesian and she is Hawaiian. Related

The Sandernistas will riot if Bernie doesn't win - primaries, convention, and general election.

Come and see the violence inherent in the socialist system!

Problem with government-run systems, in two sentences, so that even dumb people should be able to understand.

Let's take an example. If you have trouble with your health care provider or insurance, who do you go to to complain and try to get help? The government.

If the government is your provider or insurance, what do you think they will do?

Los Angeles County voting under Dean Logan (formerly from the Seattle area) didn't send my hubby his mail in ballot and I called one day too late.  Before the last big election he had asked to be on the permanent vote by mail list and they did send him a mail in ballot which I actually dropped of by hand when I went to the polls.  They've apparently lost that information so he didn't get to vote.  It kind of made me mad but during my 36 or more years of working the polls I've seen worse.

I hope that Sanders gets at least a plurality of the delegates.

if he wins the majority, he destroys the Democrat Party, we can hope. It might be better that Sanders wins just enough delegates to really upset his supporters when they get screwed over in the convention. I want them to be so upset that the Bernie brigades sit the election out.

just my 2 rubles.

I used it for maybe 15 years or more out of the 22 we've lived here. Change comes slow out here in the sticks.

Ha!  They found his name in the system but not the other information.  I don't think he's ever missed an election until now.  He is non ambulatory at this point and it's expensive to use one of those companies that have the big vans with the wheelchair ramps.

Around here, the public transit system has a system of vans for that purpose. It doesn't always work well, but it mostly works

We have something similar called Access but you have to be evaluated by them first.  They'll pick you up and take you there but it's a long day and he can hardly stand to sit in his nice new electric wheelchair or any wheelchair for more that an hour.  He doesn't want to go for the evaluation because of that.  I wish he'd just suck it up and go because they make you wait a month before you can start using the service.

34% to Sanders 27%, Lieawatha at under 20%, Bloombucks under 12%Faux

Biden is going senile.

I would have gone for former Mass governor Deval Patrick. He might be close to Obama, but he had more and friendlier trips to Israel than Obama.

Of course, when your purpose is to get Israeli companies to locate their US operations in your state, you have to be friendly.

With Biden doing better than expected (at least better than I expected) tonight,

I sum up the results as

Sense and Senility
