Meanwhile here in DC, today I saw my very first “f*ck BLM“ graffiti.

Progress.

I would like to see Trump address the nation directly in a speech---something he has very seldom done.

I'd like to see him start out by observing how utterly absurd that press-conference question about whether he "opposed the result of the Civil War" was, and progress from that to say how stupid the current banning craze is. Yes, there are people for whom the Confederate flag means something, over and above its connections to slavery; yes, there are statues which commemorate all sorts of things, and some people, somewhere may be offended by them, but they are mostly people who are looking for offense in the first place.

That people believe different things, and have the freedom to express them, is America's strength---and attacking the symbols of belief, and the commemoration of history in all its complications, is an anti-American, totalitarian mindset which must not be tolerated. If there are differences---and there will always be differences---those are to be worked out civilly through discussion, through persuasion, through orderly legal means, not by violent mob action.

We need something like that.

The people of choler - rage are the "Palestinians". They always have days of rage. And weeks, months,...

We've got plenty of "people of choler" here, too---many of them allied with the "Palestinians."

BDS groups plan Day of Rage

Pro-Palestinian organizations across the US plan to hold demonstrations against Israel on Wednesday, the earliest date that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could bring to a cabinet vote the extension of Israeli sovereignty to parts of the West Bank.

The demonstrations are set to take place in Chicago, San Diego, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and San Francisco, as well as in Toronto, Madrid and Valencia. Among the groups organizing the events are Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, and American Muslims for Palestine.

I'm glad I'm far enough out of Boston and in a small town that few people would know exists, and that I work on a well-secured area - lots of people with heavy arms (M16's at least) available.

And the way people drive nowadays, any BDS proterrorister would be run over by someone going 80 in a 45 zone.

A "Day of Rage"for the Palis, as opposed to... what other kind of day?
