Well, I spoke to the friend who told me about the "Kill the Jews" march on July 1.  He had told virtually nobody in the community, which I think is bizarre.  Most of the people I spoke to at the synagogue, including the rabbi, were totally unaware that it had happened.  

People were saying, "How could this happen?" and I pointed out that the march had started in Bay Ridge, Linda Sarsour's home neighborhood---a neighborhood which has become quite Islamized, and where, a few years ago, some younger, more-radical Muslims were caught going around tearing American flags off houses that had put them up for whatever holiday it was---Memorial Day, the Fourth, or Veteran's Day, I forget. 

The rabbi asked, "How could the mayor permit this?" and I pointed out that, first, they do have  a right to march, even for something reprehensible, but that deBlasio, who's been giving the Jewish communities (particularly of Brooklyn) grief during the course of the whole virus-and-riot circus, would hardly be sympathetic to Jewish concerns.

The guy who saw the march and told me about it was very vehement about it "not being a BLM march," which is I think utter bullshit, not only because BLM has been cozying up to the Jew-haters from the beginning, but were it not for the BLM shenanigans, these guys wouldn't have been marching.
