Meanwhile the same City Attorney pleads felony gun crimes down to misdemeanors.

This is even dumber than the usual gun manufacturer lawsuit.

It's like suing a diesel engine manufacturer over devices that bypass emissions controls. The Feds sue the right party - those making the illegal devices, not the truck manufacturers. (Of course, if the diesels could work well with the emissions controls there would be little desire for the emissions control defeating devices)

And I've said suing a gun manufacturer because the weapon was used to shoot someone is like suing GM because someone deliberately used one of their vehicles to run someone over.
