var posts = from p in db.Posts where (p.ThreadID == threadID ) select p;
to
var posts = from p in db.Posts.OrderBy(post => post.PostID) where (p.ThreadID == threadID ) select p;
But the various packages it uses have had changes that require a lot of rewriting.
Thinking of seeing if I can deploy the old version with that fix this weekend while I make all the changes for the new packages which will take longer
And either JCM or I should change Monday's thread to COLUMBUS DAY

So one of my Democrat friends on FB shared the story of how ICE is now targeting leaders of the church. Google's AI summarized it thusly:
In September 2025, Reverend David Black, a pastor at the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago, was shot with chemical-agent projectiles and pepper-sprayed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during a protest outside a facility in Broadview, Illinois. The incident was captured on video and led to a lawsuit and widespread criticism of the use of force.
Mr. Black is a reverend at the First Presbyterian Church of Chicago. Is this a left-leaning church? No idea.
Lots of accusations about what ICE is doing, but not a single story with any information about where said reverend was standing or if he was attempting to block ICE agents. Every single story just noted that he had his hands up and was praying. Again, Google's AI:
During a demonstration on September 19, 2025, Black stood in his clerical collar with his arms outstretched in a posture of prayer toward agents on the roof of an ICE processing facility. Agents fired pepper balls at Black, one of which struck him in the head and exploded, forcing him to his knees. Video shows that as Black was on the ground, another agent pepper-sprayed him in the face at close range.
So: Where was he doing this? They indicate in what direction he was focused--towards agents on a roof--but not where he was on the ground. Were the ICE agents too aggressive against him? The media is playing this up, so my immediate assumption is that there is a lot more going on here than is being described. The idea of an agent pepper spraying him when he was on his knees is maybe concerning depending on what he was saying, which is also never covered.
Black has already filed a lawsuit, so I'm just wondering if this was all intentionally staged to gin up a story the media could run with. I hope I'm wrong, but Pallywood has made me very cautious.
I have a feeling they would not have been so effusive if he had actually let Netanyahu completely destroy Gaza--although Israel has done a lot of damage there and destroyed a lot of Hamas "infrastructure."
I think it's definitely worth exploring, but guardrails would need to be clearly identified as to what could be under lawsuit.

Do we have any translations of what Hamas leadership is saying to Palestinians to compare against what they are saying in English to western-facing media?
