Notre Dame rises from ashes — only to be ruined by atheist artist

Paris’ Notre-Dame Cathedral suffered immense damage to its roof and upper walls when it burned in 2019. Thankfully, much of the interior decoration survived, including six stained glass windows from the 19th century.

French officials are replacing them anyway. French artist Claire Tabouret was selected for the task, presumably on the strength of her portfolio, which includes paintings such as “little girl smothered in makeup.” (In fairness, not all of her work is so objectionable. Just unremarkable.)

Tabouret collaborated with the Atelier Simon-Marq stained-glass studio to produce six hideous new designs for stained glass windows. The windows purport to tell the story of the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descending upon followers of Jesus Christ.

Original undamaged window.

New unnecessary stain glass.

In fairness to the artist, you aren't seeing the glass with the sun shining behind it. It might look much better once installed. Do I think they needed to create new glass? Absolutely not.

The United States Department of Transportation is revoking 17,000 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders in California in what has become a political football between the Trump administration and California Gov. Gavin Newsom, an early favorite to be the Democratic presidential nominee in 2028.

“After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.

Do drivers of cars for Uber, Lyft and the like use commercial drivers' licenses?  If so---and if lots of illegals are holders of such improperly-issued licenses---then clearly, they are trying to become Ubermenschen.

No CDL requirements are for vehicles over 26,000 lbs and / or a combination vehicle ie. a semitruck. Also required for hazardous materials or tankers.

19 States issues regular DLs to illegals.

Many if not all of those states have Motor Voter. But that is another issue.

Colorado, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Washington are known to issue CDLs to illegals.

We just had another fatal accident involving an illegal driving a truck in WA State.
